Elaine Mae Eytchison

Elaine Mae Eytchison, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on October 7, 2022 at the age of 93.

Elaine was born in Kellogg, Iowa to Howard Scarbrough and Gladys Scarbrough. Elaine married Dwight Meyer on November 20, 1949; from their union came 3 children, Kim (Dick) Pearson, Dianna (Jeff) Underwood, and Rod (Donna) Meyer.
 Elaine worked along the side of her husband and son as a receptionist and therapist. In her free time, she was an avid reader and loved to play with her grandkids. 
 
Elaine was preceded in death by her first husband, Dwight Meyer, October 1973,  as well as her second husband, Austin Eytchison, May 1984, parents, 3 sisters, and 1 brother.

She is survived by her 3 children, 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Public Viewing will be held Tuesday, 11th of October, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, Indianapolis, with services beginning at 12:00 PM. 

Elaine’s favorite charity was the Lawrence United Methodist Church.
