Edith Rose Purcell

Edith Rose Purcell (Coop), 67, Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord Feb. 19, 2020. Born Nov. 8, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN to Edmond and Ina "Mable" Coop, Edith was a lifelong member of Liberty Church Beech Grove, IN.

Edith enjoyed listening to Gospel music, she would have her headphones on just listening to her music, Edith loved talking to Family and friends, by phone, several times a day, to check in and give updates. She loved going to the store and shopping. Loved getting mail. Always quick with a compliment. Edith would start a conversation by giving a compliment, to everyone she met, she wanted to see you smile. She liked to tease with everyone, to make you laugh. there were very few times she was not smiling.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edmond T. Coop, Mother, Ina Mable Coop, Sister, Patsy Jo Wheeler, and husband Vincent Purcell.

Survivors include her brother, Edmond Coop Jr (Vickie and Matthew Burke); Nephew, James (Tiffany) Vance, Niece, Theresa (Cecil) McCrady; great nephews and nieces, Dustin Boutwell, Jayme and Chyanne Vance, Matthew and Nikki McCrady;
