Douglas John Louden

With a heavy heart, we say goodbye to Douglas John Louden. 

Doug is survived by many who will miss and remember him, including his father Carl, step mother Edie, sisters Patty and Susie, fiancé Sherri, and countless others who knew him as Dad, Papaw, and Friend.

Doug was a man of many talents, although some might argue that his singing voice was not one of them. However, that never stopped him from belting out his favorite tunes, much to the delight (or dismay) of those around him.

Doug was an avid lover of sports, racing, and rock music, an intellectual on crosswords with pen to newspaper (because pencil was for rookies), and would be the first to ask if you wanted a drink. 

Doug was loved and cherished by many. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his generous spirit, and his willingness to dance like nobody was watching.

Rest in peace, Doug. You will be missed.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 15 at Indiana Funeral Care - Greenwood Chapel, 2433 E. Main Street Greenwood, IN 46143. Gathering time will be from 12pm to 1pm with the service beginning at 1pm.
