Douglas W. Goldman

October 13, 1963 — August 29, 2023

Douglas William Goldman passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 59 years old.

His brother Andy and father Merle were by his side at the time of his passing. Doug and his twin Brother,

Daniel, were born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Doug was in the class of'82 at North Central High

School and went on to graduate from Purdue University with a major in Communications. Doug found

his passion in catering and worked for years as a talented waiter and Manager. Doug loved the outdoors

At age 13, he and his twin learned to water ski on Lake Lemon and lake Wawasee, and snow ski in

Michigan. He loved his family and adored making people laugh. Doug loved to travel to California to see

Daniel, they had many memorable times in Los Angeles. Doug will be missed by so many, including his

twin brother, Daniel, with whom he shared a special bond. He is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy

Goldman (Epler). He is survived by his brothers, Andy and Daniel, and his father, Merle, who love Doug

and will miss him so much. May God rest his soul. Service will be held at Union Chapel United

Methodist Church, 2720 E 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46240 on Saturday, September 16th at 11 a.m. with

calling from 10 a.m to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local AA

or to a favored charity.
