Dottie was born May 8, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Maxwell and Magdalene (Maggie) Williams. She graduated from Stephen Decatur High School.
Dottie enjoyed doing crafts, making and sharing food with others, and playing card games with her friends at Churchman Woods.
Dottie is survived by her sons Max Adams, (Carol) Richard Adams, and Bill Cast (Lise); daughters Sue Adams, Vicki Colin, Jeanetta Scott and Lorie Miller Vaughn (Kevin); grandchildren Shannon Henry, Sherri Crossland, Anndrea Miller, Dr. Ami Shivley, Jessica Leonard, Ashley Cast, Willard Cast Jr., Dennis Stevens, Ricky Adams, David Gregory, James Gregory, Phillip Gregory, and Aaron Colin; great-grandchildren Heavynn Adams, Kai Crossland, Jacob Henry, Carter Wayne, Brynlee Hurt, Malakai Walker, Christopher Lee, Kisti Gregory, Douglas Gregory and Caleb Gregory; sister Francis Porten of Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
We love you Mom and you will be truly missed!
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
