Doris Helen Davis

Doris Helen Davis, 91, passed away comfortably Monday, May 6, 2024, at Waters Edge Village. Doris was born in Savage, Montana on February 11, 1933, to Walter and Judy Kaiser. Doris worked for Gommel’s Market until she retired. She was a loving mother and dedicated wife who enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, fishing, crocheting, and reading. She spent many summers hiking through the hills of Brown County collecting rocks and spending time with her family camping at Lutheran Hills church camp. She was quick-witted and had a great sense of humor.  She is survived by her three children; Gary Davis (Joann), Scott Davis (Jill), and Suzanne Cox (Gib Bradford); grandchildren Casey Cox (Jancie), Tanner Davis (Kortney), and Morgan Davis; seven great- grandchildren; and sister Darlene Adams. Her death is preceded by her husband, Vadis Davis; brothers Howard Kaiser, Herman Kaiser, Stanley Kaiser; sisters Elenore Faircloth, Alice Kruger-Johnson; and grandson, Mitchell Cox.
