Donna Darlene Southerland

Donna Darlene (Swartz) Southerland age 79, died peacefully at her son’s home in Greenfield, IN, Friday, April 7, 2023. She was born June 30, 1943 in Shelbyville, IN. She was the daughter of Carl Swartz and Bonnie (Means) Swartz.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister Bonita Duncan and daughter, Shannon Lynn Southerland.

She is survived by sister, Barbara Burnham of Greenfield, IN; former spouse, Dan Southerland of Greenfield IN; sons, Sterling Southerland and Michael (Sherry) Southerland, of Greenfield, IN; grandchildren Shanté Southerland of FL, Jesse Southerland and Destin Feltner of Greenfield, IN, Amanda (Marc) Glenister of Neenah, WI, Chelsea Southerland of Knightstown, IN, Nevaeh Coomer-Southerland of Greenfield, IN; six great-grandchildren, Jax McCarthy, Jacob Glenister, Maggie Miles, Nova Southerland, and Ryker and Mason Troxell.

Donna was a graduate of Hancock-Central High School and a devout member of Evangel Christian Church in Greenfield, IN. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
