Donna Lois Doss

Donna Lois Doss passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Hamilton Trace Senior Living Community in Fishers, Indiana, after an illness of several months.

Donna was born on July 15, 1944, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to Estel and Lois Williams Doss. She was a 1962 graduate of Greenwood High School. Donna had a 29-year career with Indiana Bell/Ameritech. Following retirement, she worked at the Indiana Hand Center.

Donna was a woman of strong Christian faith. She loved singing in church choirs. She adored babies and animals, especially cats and dogs. Donna was a very loyal friend. She will lovingly be remembered for her kindness, calm spirit, and her wonderful sense of humor and quick wit. She had a special gift for sharing memories that made everyone laugh. To know her was to love her.

Donna is survived by a sister, Kay Ysagirre, a niece, Lori Martin, a great-niece and great-nephew, two half-sisters, Pam Beck and Joyce Hoffman, many cousins, and her stepfather, John Johnson, as well as by many good friends, including her closest friend, Cheryl Carden. She was predeceased by her parents, and her beloved cousin Jim Maddrill.
