Donna Joan Chitwood

Donna J. Chitwood left this world to enter God's heaven on November 19, 2021. Donna was born on January 3, 1940, to Deedrick and Elizabeth (nee Whitney) Chitwood in Franklin, IN. Other than her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her sisters Dorothy Lee Chitwood and Marcia Louise (Larry) Eades. She left behind her sisters Connie (Dallas) Minton and Norma Chitwood along with brother Gary (Linnea) Chitwood, along with several nieces and nephews.

Donna was a born-again Christian. She gave her life to Christ when she was 18 years old and served Him ever since. Donna was a 1958 graduate of Mooresville High School. She attended Springfield Bible College in Springfield, MO. Donna worked most of her life as a Health Care Aide. She loved to read her Bible and watch Christian television. She will be missed by her family and all who knew her.

Visitation will be held from 10am-11:30am on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Center United Methodist Church, 5445 Bluff Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46217. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:30am. Donna will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
