Donna Jean Young

Donna Jean Young, Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away February 11, 2021 due to complications from COVID-19. Donna was born on March 22, 1941 to William V. and Louise Vecera Irvin in Richmond, IN. Donna and Denny Young were married on January 26, 1963. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Denny, her parents, Vlon and Louise Irvin, and brothers, Bill and Eddie Irvin. Donna is survived by her three children, Cathy (Brett Neil) Young, Connie (Kevin) Dungee and Greg (Priya) Young. She was the best Mimi to her five perfect grandchildren: Nyla, Kareena, Lillia, Ryan and Eric. Donna is also survived by her sister, Connie (Steve) Goeke, sister-in-law Diane Allen, sister-in-law Lynn (Robert) Williams and eleven nieces and nephews.

Donna knew how to light up a room! She was adored by all who knew her and she lived to spoil her grandchildren. Donna had an extraordinary sense of humor and adventure with a laugh that will live on within her family. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.

The family will have a private ceremony at a later date.
