Donald R. Newman I, 76 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Don was born on Friday, October 27, 1944 to the late Ernie and Claudie Alice (Hollaway) Newman in Beech Grove, Indiana.
Don was a graduate of Wood High School in 1963. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Apostolic Bible College in California. He was a longtime distributor for Indianapolis Star and News and owner of Yard Greetings sign company.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Claudie Newman and brother Guy Neal Newman.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at Southport Heights Christian Church located at 7154 McFarland Road, Indianapolis, IN 46227 on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
Flowers and condolences may be offered at 6315 S. Sherman Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46227
