Donald Gene Presley

Donald Gene Presley, 78, of New Palestine, passed away October 13, 2024. He was born on January 5, 1946, to parents Roy and Clarabell (Farren) Presley. Donald grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Arlington High School in 1964. 

Donald was employed by Indianapolis Power & Light Company for 37 years. Upon retirement he continued to work for both Miami Paint Company and a pharmacy home health care delivery service. Donald was a hard-working self-made man, who had a passion for Hot Rods and all things cars! He enjoyed restoring cars and spending countless summers traveling the country to car shows, where his cars won many awards over the years. Through his love for cars, he made many lifelong friendships. 

Donald was married to his wife Marsha Presley for 54 amazing years and together that created a loving family. Donald is survived by his wife, Marsha (Birdwell) Presley, son Christopher and wife Tracy Presley, and their children Madison and Luke. Their daughter Erika Presley and her children Grace, Annie, and Lila. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Janet DeFelice, and Debbie Clayton. Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Roy, and Clarabell Presley.
