Donald Duane Opsal

Donald Duane Opsal, 63, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on February 17, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on March 2, 1960, in Schaumburg, IL, to David Dean Opsal Sr and Arlene Carol (Fosdick) Opsal.  He graduated from Carmel High School in 1978. Don worked in commercial printing most of his career for large companies including Performance Press and Shepard Poorman. Donald also had many joys in life such as cooking, watching Nascar, vehicle maintenance and listening to country music. He enjoyed spending time with his family playing ship, captain, and crew and sequence. 

Donald is survived by his children, daughter, Hailey (Mike) Commiskey; son, Eric (Emma) Opsal; daughter, Sarah Opsal; brother, Jim Opsal, and 4 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brother David Dean Opsal Jr. 

A memorial service will be held for Donald on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 3:00pm at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46250. Friends and family are welcome to gather from 1:00pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
