Donald Null

Donald E. Null, born April 9th, 1943, of Knightstown, IN, formerly of Wabash, IN, passed away Saturday, February 18th at 12:30am.

He married Rebecca (Becky) Emrick, on February 28th, 1964 at College Corner Brethren Church, Wabash, IN. Don attended Somerset High School and graduated in 1961.

Surviving along with his wife are son David (Heather) E. Null of Knightstown, IN, and 3 granddaughters, Erica Null of Portage, IN, Sarah Null and Rachel Null both of Chicago, IL, and 3 step-grandchildren Beth (Devin) Munson of Rushville, IN, Megan (Devon) Ronan of Connersville, IN, and Robert "Mac" Reed of Rushville, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents Neoma (Curran) & Omer L. Null and brother Omer L. Null, Jr.

He retired from GenCorp in Wabash, IN and Trelleborg in Peru, IN. Don was a life-long resident of Wabash, IN, until he and his wife of 58 years moved to Knightstown to live with their son and daughter-in-law. Don was a Purdue fan who loved a good Purdue vs. IU game and enjoyed golfing with his close friends. He was also president of the Somerset Alumni Association for several years.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
