Donald Lee "Butch" Moose, 78, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away on December 29, 2023. He was born on July 9, 1945, in Covington, Kentucky. Butch, as he was fondly known, will be remembered for his love of books and his great sense of humor. He was a caring and generous individual who touched the lives of those around him.
Butch is survived by his sister, Wanda Clos, and brother-in-law, Earl Clos. He is also survived by his niece, Kimberly Stepp, and his great-nephew, Alan Stepp, as well as his great-niece, Stacey Ray, and her children, Hunter, Landon, Kaden, Wyatt, and Avery Ray. He was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Moose, his father, Donald Moose, and his nephew, David Clos.
Butch proudly served in the Army from 1966 to 1968 during the Vietnam War. His dedication and service to his country will forever be remembered and appreciated.
After leaving the Army, Butch pursued a career as a carpenter, showcasing his skills and craftsmanship in his work.
Butch will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and his legacy will continue to inspire.
