Donald Lloyd Lessel

December 13, 1954 — August 13, 2021

Donald Lloyd Lessel left this life on August 13, 2021. Don was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and LaVera Lessel. Don leaves behind the love of his life Judy Lessel; brother Steve Lessel (Karen); nephew Adam Lessel; niece Kelly Lessel Mynatt (Jack); great niece Lyla Mynatt; great nephews Jack, Eli, and Lucas Mynatt; step daughter Dana Stafford; step grandchildren Grace Edmonds and Curtis (Tre) Sweatt; beloved dogs Tara, Bleu, and Gia; and best friends Rick and Joan Harris.

Don graduated from Northwest High School in 1973, starting his career at Rock Island Refinery and retiring from Eli Lilly. Don had a love of sports car racing and watching the Colts; however, love of family always came first.

A private memorial service and interment will take place at Carmel Cemetery.
