Donald Grant

Donald Grant, 80 of Greenwood, Indiana passed away suddenly on August 7, 2024. He was born on August 19, 1943, to the late Mary and Robert Grant.  

Donald dedicated his life to building a successful career as the business owner of D Grant Concrete for an impressive 60 years, since 1964. Additionally, he proudly served as the owner-driver of Raggedy Ann and Rags to Riches since 1978.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Donald was known for his vibrant personality and diverse interests. An avid lover of fast cars, pulling trucks, and his beloved dogs, cats, and horses, he brought passion and enthusiasm to every facet of his life.  Most of all, Donald loved his family and friends.

The services to honor and remember Donald will take place at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.  A viewing will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and a second viewing on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service. Donald will rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN.

Donald is survived by his loving girlfriend, Renee Dillard, his children, Donald (Wendy), Craig, and Stephanie Boulineau, and his grandchildren, Jessi, Elizabeth, Coty, Chase, Madison, and Drew. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Waterman (late husband Robert), and his brothers, Jack (Patricia), Tom (Jodee), Richard (Gerry), Ed (late wife Judy), and Joe (Lynda). 

In the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him, Donald Grant's legacy as a hardworking businessman, a devoted family man, great friend, and a passionate enthusiast will forever be cherished and remembered with great fondness. May he rest in peace.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards funeral costs, the Donald Grant Fund to help the family with expenses.
