DONALD G. LYNCH, 78, of Indianapolis, formerly of Rochester New York passed away
December 1st, 2020. Mr. Lynch was born September 22, 1942. The son of Thomas C. And Margaret G. Lynch
Don was employed by Banquet Dairy, Maplehurst Dairy, and in recent years by Instantwhip,
Indianapolis, from where he retired in December 2009. In retirement Don worked for Dean Foods, Rochester Indiana, as a merchandiser.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of American Legion Post 139, Sullivan, Indiana.
After moving to Indiana in the late 60’s early 70’s, Don was a Radio Announcer in the Sullivan and Terre Haute, Indiana areas for seven years.
Don was an avid writer, mostly of Poetry, for over 30 years. Although unpublished, much of his work was distributed to family and friends for and on special occasions.
Don was preceded in death by his Mother Margaret (Grimes), Father Thomas, Wife Diane, Daughter Donna Marie, Brother Richard, and Stepson Billyjack.
Don is survived by his wife Vickie, son Timothy A. Lynch, Sisters, Mary Lynch, Margaret Lynch
Mercury, brother Tom Lynch, 3 stepchildren, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, as well as
many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday, December 17,2020 in Greenwood, Indiana. Internment will be in Sullivan, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Gleaner’s Food Bank or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital are
requested.
