Donald C. Young, 65, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at his home.
He was born on Monday, September 26, 1955 in Tacoma, Washington.
Donald served in the US Army for 2 years and received the National Defense Service Medal and was a sharpshooter. He worked in maintenance at the airport for over 20 years before retiring.
He was an avid fisherman and coin collector.
Donald is survived by his wife, Beverly; children, Elaina (Austin) and Donald Jr.; siblings, Thelma, John (Terri), Carrie (Doug); and grandchildren, Layla, Dalanie, Autumn and Alice.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn; and grandparents, Emerson and Pansy; and sister Winnie.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.
Military honors to begin at 4:00 pm.
