Diane Marie Stahl

Diane Marie Stahl, 73, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully at her home on October 30, 2023. She was born on July 22, 1950, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Leo Francis Stahl and RoseMary (Murphy) Stahl. After receiving her high school diploma from Shortridge High School, Diane worked at Meridian Mutual and later enlisted in the United States Air Force, where she proudly served her country until she was honorably discharged.  
Diane later went on to complete her associate degree in computer programming from Ivy Tech Community College, and enjoyed her many years working for Meridian Mutual, Stationer's, and Office Depot.   
Diane had many joys in life; she loved sports (especially baseball), played softball for many years, and took much delight in watching her favorite teams, the Atlanta Braves, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Notre Dame play each season. She also was an avid reader, favoring the many works of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and David Baldacci to pass the time.   
Diane is survived by her sister, Joan (Harry) Walker; brothers, Edward (Susann) Stahl and Howard (Ann) Stahl; and sister-in-law, Jeanne Stahl; as well as five nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Leo Stahl and RoseMary Stahl, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bernard Stahl.  
At Diane's request, no services are being held at this time. A private family burial will take place at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery in Indianapolis.
