Dessere Myatt was born Feb. 19, 1977 to Christine Myatt and Otis Truitt in San Jose, California. Her mother moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana when Dessere was 2 years old. At the age of ten she her family moved to Indianapolis.
She moved to Harrisburg Pennsylvania in 2013, where she was a manager at Pennsylvania Farm Show. She later relocated to Indianapolis to study Accounting Management at Ivy Tech Community College.
Dessere accepted Jesus as her Lord at an early age. She enjoyed socializing with friends.
Dessere departed this life on August 7, 2021 at the age of 44. She is preceded in death by her mother and grandparents. Dessere leaves to cherish her memory, two children; Isaiah Redd and Diane Jackson, her father Otis Truitt (Cynthia), 2 brothers; Jabari Truitt (Merisha) and Shadyn Truitt, 3 sisters; Dakari Truitt, Jammita Ellington, and Tiffany McCoy, one aunt; Stephanie Elder (Steve) and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
