On February 9th, 2020 God took away the pain and suffering of a very young gentleman. Dennis Ray Jackson, of 32 short years, was called to heaven after a very vicious battle of cancer. He was a wonderful husband to Andrea Annette Jackson. They shared almost six great years together. He was also an amazing father to eight beautiful children.
Born in Indianapolis, Indiana in May of 1987, he was the son of Michael and Anita Childers. He attended Danville High School graduating with the class of 2006. He earned a high school diploma as well an associates’ degree in landscaping. Dennis had achieved multiple accomplishments when it came to school and work. He was employed at a nursing home where he worked his way up to an accounting position. Then moving on to work at Northwest Hendricks Schools as part of the maintenance crew. Here he excelled in every task he was given.
Dennis was very outgoing and couldn’t stand to be inside long. He enjoyed anything that happened outdoors from fishing to shoveling snow! He was very fascinated with firearms and was proud to have his gun permit. He took a lot of pride in fixing things and if he didn’t know, how he took the time to learn. He was definitely a Jack of all trades! He loved driving around listening to music, no matter what mood he was in. That was part of his showing off personality!
He is survived by his beautiful wife, Andria; his mother, Anita Childers; and his children, Kaiden 11 years old, Harley 3 years old, Konner 2 years old, and baby Hailee of 1 month. Dennis also had other children before his wife. Bailey 12 years old, Dennis 10 years old, Ariana 7 years old, and James 6 years old. One thing he loved most in life was his children, and he was an amazing father to them all. He will always be remembered for loving his family. Even though some of his children are young, their memories of Dennis WILL NEVER DIE. He will truly be missed, but never forgotten.
A committal service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 13, 2020 at New Winchester Cemetery, New Winchester, Indiana.
