Delphine "Del" Joyce Lennon

Delphine Joyce (Dick) Lennon, known affectionately as "Del", peacefully passed away on June 13, 2024, in Noblesville, IN, at the age of 92. She was born on March 3, 1932, in St. Joseph, MI.

Del was preceded in death by her mother and father, George and Elise (Schmidt) Dick; brother, Arno Dick; and her loving husband of 59 years, James "Jim" Lennon. 

She was a beloved mother to Sharon (Lemuel) Calvert and a cherished grandmother to Christiaan and Case Calvert. She adored her great-granddaughter, Cadence Calvert, who brought immense joy into her life. Delphine is also survived by her devoted friend and partner of 6 years, James "Jim" Cox and many nieces and nephews who she adored. 

Del went to St. Joseph High School and attended Anderson College before her marriage to James Lennon. She worked in Retail for 50+ years. Del was a member of Refuge Christian Church in Noblesville, and was involved in the Ladies Bible Study Group. In addition, she was a member of Noblesville Senior Citizen Center. Del enjoyed traveling and going out to eat. 

Del's warm and caring nature endeared her to all who knew her. She had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest. Delphine enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and her presence always brought happiness to those around her. Del will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Del will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Refuge Christian Church, 11772 E. 196 Street, Noblesville, IN, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
