Deloris Jean Marchbanks passed away December 6, 2022 at the
age of 81. She was born on August 22, 1941 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Gene and
Ruth Carrow (Mills).
She graduated high school and went on to receive her associates degree from Indiana Business College in accounting. She retired from Universal Music where she really enjoyed working at.
Dee enjoyed music, reading books and crafting. She had a passion and
amazing talent in all sorts of crafts, especially knitting and crocheting. She truly enjoyed
making many items as special gifts for all her loved ones who were blessed to receive them.
She was a very strong and independent woman and was proud of everything she worked hard for and achieved in life. She loved her house that she raised her kids in and lived in for 54 years. She really enjoyed making things for newborns and donating them to Community hospital and also hats for the homeless. She had a big heart made of gold and made an impact on anyone she met. Her big smile and infectious giggle would light up a room and bring happiness to anyone around her. She loved to joke with you and was filled with sass, spunk and humor but she was also filled with love and care that outpoured to those around her.
She was an amazing mom to her two kids Chuck Marchbanks and Lori Wiles (Marchbanks). She also had a brother, Robert (Sandy) Carrow, and Debbie (Jeff) Stephenson. An amazing grandma to her grandkids Sarah, Rob and Emily. An amazing great grandma to Cyera, Kyra and Eli. Although she didn't meet her great great grand child, Daniel, she loved him very much.
She was overall an amazing sister, mom, grandma, sibling, cousin, aunt, and friend to all that
surrounded her! She has been greeted with love and open arms by our lord in heaven and many loved ones who have passed before her. She will always be well loved and will be greatly missed!!
