David Stout

David Michael Stout passed away peacefully on August 17, 2023. His passing will leave a gaping hole in the Stout family. We will miss his kind and gentle spirit. Anyone that met David walked away as a friend. He loved his family and his extended family very much. He always had an opinion about things, and like most of the Stout family, was always right. He was very much a logical thinker and always loved a wide variety of music. He loved spending time at his campsite on the lake with his significant other, Sandy.

David was most recently a package handler at FedEx until his health no longer allowed him to do the work. He had many jobs through the years. Besides his love of music he also enjoyed spending time at the casino.

David married Cindy Elston on May 20th, 1989 and became a father of 4 children, all of which he loved as if they were his own. Davids life changed when Cindy preceded him in death on March 21, 2011 after a brief illness. Besides his wife, David was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Stout, his father Maurice Stout and his brother Stevie, and a grandson Jacob Nguyen.

Survivors include his significant other, Sandy Matthews Stout; his children, Sabrina (Wray) King, Steven Elston, Jackie (Ashley) Elston and Kara Elston; his grandchildren, Heather, Justin (Ayanna), Jonathan, Hunter, Taylor, Alexis, Ashton, Cambree, Bryson, Kaylee, Grayson, Konnor and Rebekah; and great grandson, Ever. Other survivors include his stepmom, Joan; his brothers, Don (Kim), Bob (Anne) Henry (Jonna), Greg (Dawn) and Brian (Briceida); sisters, Deena (Nolik) Tijunin, Sheri (Johnny) Morgan, Linda (Gerry) Robertson, Pam (Donnie) Brandenburg; as well as too many nieces and nephews to list here. (Whew!)

Services will be held on September 9, 2023 with visitation from 12-1 and the service at 1pm.
