David Paul Stingle, 79, of Indianapolis, IN, died peacefully in his home on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, following an extended illness. He was born in Lafayette, IN, on June 1, 1943, to the late Paul and Margaret Stingle. He grew up in Pine Village, IN, and graduated from high school there in 1961.
Dave proudly served his country in the United States Army where he achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class. He was a member of the American Legion in Indianapolis. He and his wife operated Professional Dental Services for nearly 20 years. After selling the business, they began developing property and building custom homes.
Dave is survived by his wife of 37 years, Pat (née Hutchison) and her daughter Christy (Mike) Matuszeski; his son Bryan (Marybeth) Stingle, grandson Samuel Stingle; daughter Kimberlee (Ray) Mains, and granddaughters Bryanna and Samantha Mains. Also surviving are his brother Mauri (June) Stingle, sister Arlene (Marvin) Blessing, and many nieces and nephews. Dave was preceded in death by his infant brother Donald Stingle, his sister Millie Meacham and her husband, Jim.

A memorial service for Dave will be held at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250, on Saturday, February 11th. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM with the service following.
