David Allen Richey

David Allen Richey, age 77, passed away on August 18, 2024.

David was born in New Castle, IN to James Richey and Evelyn June (Cook) Richey.

David is a graduate of Eastern Hancock High School class of 1965. He was later drafted to the Army and served during the Vietnam Era. He worked at Western Electric and IUPUI before retiring from Ford Motor Company. David enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a very special uncle and was well loved by all of his nieces and nephews.

David is survived by his brother Mike (Marsha) Richey, his sister Priscilla "Pixie" (Roger) Kenyon, his brother-in-law, Tom Elsworth, 10 nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Marcia "Marty" Elsworth.

The family would like to thank Franciscan Hospice House for their great care and compassion to our loved one.
