David Paul Schuster, 71 passed away peacefully at his home in Brownsburg, Indiana on November 17th, 2019. David was born to the late George Henry Schuster and Elizabeth (Kreuser) Schuster on November 9th, 1948 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
David was a passionate family man. Before it was common, David was a stay-at-home dad. He was diagnosed with bladder cancer 23 years ago and after 5 years of multiple treatments he was cancer-free. In 2010, David was diagnosed with an aggressive form metastatic prostate cancer. He worked very hard to keep it under control so he could be with his family for as long as possible.
David is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Mary O. Schuster of Brownsburg, Indiana. David is also survived by his sons Timothy David Schuster (Emily) of Indianapolis and Gregory William Schuster of Avon, Indiana. David is survived by his sister Diane Bayer (David) of Cudahy, Wisconsin and by his brother Richard Schuster (Jan) of Brookfield, Wisconsin. Also surviving is his brother-in-law Jerome Krier of New Berlin, Wisconsin. David is survived by his mother-in-law Frances O’Hearn of University Heights, Ohio and his sister-in-law Margaret (Peggy) Finucane (Thomas), also of University Heights. David is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Carol Krier and Elizabeth (Betty) Schuster.
In his free time, he enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers, auto racing and classic TV shows. David was an avid newspaper reader and kept up on current events. David enjoyed the companionship of his dog Molly and grand dog Sunny. David had a love of cars and enjoyed passing his knowledge on to family and friends.
David’s hospice nurses, Cheryl, Anna, Jessica, Tina and Dawn, alleviated his symptoms and kept him comfortable. We are very thankful for their care and expertise.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 11 AM to 1PM at St. Malachy Catholic Church, 9833 East County Road 750 North, Brownsburg, Indiana 46112. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1 PM at the church. Inurnment will be private at a future date.
