David Samuel Novotny

David Samuel Novotny, 68, of Cicero, Indiana, passed away on June 20, 2024.

He was born in Washtenaw County, Michigan on June 6, 1956, to his parents Albert Michael and Mary Evelyn (Rayhill) Novotny. Dave grew up in Cumberland, IN.

He attended Warren Central High School, where he played basketball and golf. He went on to graduate from ITT technical college with an associates degree in electrical engineering. He worked at Ascension St. Vincent for many years as a biomed engineer. He later worked for companies St. Jude, Guidant, and for Ascension Cardiology Group in their pacemaker and defibrillator clinic, from where he retired. Dave had many hobbies and activities that he enjoyed throughout his lifetime.

He enjoyed golf - his one true love - traveling, and being with his wife Kathy. Dave is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen (Conard) Novotny, his grandson Troy Novotny, his brother Al Novotny, Jr., his sister Julie Novotny, his daughter-in-law Jill Triggol, and granddaughter Serena Triggol. He is preceded in death by his sons Jesse Novotny, Sean Novotny, and Eric Novotny.
