David passed away peacefully at home in Indianapolis, Indiana. Left to cherish his loving memory include his wife Cynthia Huber his children Terry Huber, Joshua Huber, John Waymire (Patrick Jeffrey) Menlo Whitaker (Elise Whitaker), Kathryn Wright (Michael), Mike Stevens (deceased). David was born in Festus, Missouri to the late Benadict Joseph Huber and ILeene Faye (Sago) Huber. The eldest of five children he is also survived by his brothers Glennon (Jill) and Ronald Huber (Nancy) and preceded in death by his brother Leonard Huber and sister Donna Fay Ivey.

He was a graduate of Festus high School class of 1957 where he played on the basketball team. David proudly served in the US Navy and the Navy tradition is continued through his son Joshua. Later in life David was a Registered Nurse working in hospitals and nursing homes from California to Indiana until his retirement in South Carolina. David was also an avid gardener, carpenter and outdoorsman and shared the love of his hobbies with many family and friends.
