Darlene Hall Wilson was born April 24, 1959 the daughter of Mr. Wallace and Mrs. Juanita Hall in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended the Indianapolis Public School #42 and Crispus Attucks High School.
Darlene professed her hope in Christ Jesus at an early age and was a faithful Member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. Where she played a major role in the Women’s Day Fundraising, “The Taste of Pilgrim” never seeking to be recognized for her participation.
Always a hard worker, Darlene worked throughout her life. She was employed at the Hilton Hotel (Downtown Indianapolis) for 19 years, and at Marquette Manor Senior Care for the past 18 years up unto her illness. She loved her work and was an asset to all who graced her presence.
Darlene loved caring for people, especially her mother. Her favorite words were baby boy or baby girl when referencing her niece and nephew. Darlene loved her family and was always there to offer any type of assistance as needed. She also loved watching game shows on TV. But her greatest joy was spending time with her husband, mother and church family, she loved and worshiped God to the very end, she was so compassionate and often asked, are yawl going to be alright, because she knew where she was going.
On Thursday August12, 2021, at the age of 62 years, three months, and nineteen days, following an extended illness, Darlene Hall Wilson made her transition from Earth to Glory. Her father, Wallace Hall preceded her in death.
Darlene leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Michael A. Wilson Sr., mother, Juanita Hall, two sisters Juanita Thurston (Dirk), Paula Hall-Venable (Wayne deceased) one brother Larry Hall, two step children, Michelle Wilson Parker (Michael) and Michael A. Wilson Jr., and a host of nieces and nephews along with many loving friends, past and present.
