Daniel Keith Reed

Daniel Keith Reed, 44, of Anderson, passed away on Thursday, September 5th, 2024. He was born March 11, 1980 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Polly Ann White and Michael Keith Reed. 

Danny grew up between Mooresville and Cascade, Indiana. He experienced a varied career starting as a machinist at Link Belt, then working as a Wastewater Operator at TOA, and lastly doing interior/exterior subcontracting. Danny was a foodie and loved horror movies, namely George A. Romero. Danny also dabbled in woodworking, video games and had a passion for Mustang cars. He was a perfectionist with projects and was great at what he did. 

Danny had two uniquely beautiful daughters, Pippa and Ahziah Reed. He loved them fiercely. Danny spent the last few years of his life in pursuit of sobriety and a better life. He spent his last year with his fiance, Rachael White, who showed him the love and kindness he had been looking for. 

Survivors include his daughters Pippa Anne Reed (13) and Ahziah Penelope Reed (lovingly nicknamed Critter) (10); sister Kelsey (White) Bai, brother-in-law Hongdi Bai, brother Gage White, sister-in-law Grace (McConnell) White, mother Polly White, step-father Charles White, niece Mara Bai (6), and nephew Ari Bai (3). He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Reed and ex-wife Sharril Reed.
