He was 57 years old. Corey was born in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1976, his family spent one year in Ann Arbor, Michigan before settling in Carmel, Indiana in 1977. Corey attended Indiana University and was a proud member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He graduated from Indiana University in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs.
After graduating IU, Corey then began to work at Alt & Witzig. He went on to a meaningful career of over 15 years with F.E. Harding. Following F.E. Harding, Corey held the role as Vice President of Sales at ACI/Delta Paving. Corey whole heartedly fulfilled this role for the past decade of his life, always considering work and family the same.
Corey’s spirit is carried on by his loving fiancé, Stacie Morris and her children Chelsie, Chynna and Samuel. He is survived by his parents Carlton and Cathleen Geltz of Indianapolis; his brother Scott Ryan Geltz and his children Jessica, Samantha, and Coulson of Hilton Head, South Carolina, and his brother Christopher Carlton Geltz of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Corey would rather be fishing than anything else. Everyone that knew Corey had probably received a fish picture, or 100 at some point. He was an environmentalist and animal advocate. Corey’s heart was pure and good. He truly LIVED his life every day. Corey did not know a stranger. He cared deeply about people and the planet. Please keep his memory alive by spreading kindness and keeping our community clean.
