Christopher Paul Otterman, 65, of Zionsville, Indiana passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born on Wednesday, February 22, 1956 to Paul Robert Otterman and Beverly Ann (Mullin) Bothel in Lebanon, Indiana.
Chris graduated from Lebanon High School then attended Indiana University. He worked in many different positions over the years including, farming, glazier, sales, construction, and was a postal carrier for USPS where he retired from. He loved delivering to the Zionsville people on his route.
He had a life-long love of learning; he was a sharer of knowledge. He loved to read and listen to music, gardening and canning, he made yummy salsa from his garden, he was a Boone County Master Gardner, loved hiking and nature walks, was a RV traveler and Boy scout in his time. He was a member of DFB&G.
Chris suffered with declining health for quite some time. While surrounded by his loving family he went on to a place of peace, rest and no more pain.
Chris is survived by his wife Kristeen A. (Brown) Otterman; mother, Beverly; daughters, Jessica and Emily; stepson, Isaiah; sister, Lynn; niece, Cathy; nephew, Andy; and many good friends and co-workers.
He is preceded in death by his father, Paul R. Otterman; his grandparents; many DFB&G brothers; and his cats, Bob & Tom.
Chris will no longer mourn to Pink Floyds “Wish you were here” for he is there, and we shall miss him!
