Christine D. (Long) Allanson, 58, of Franklin, Indiana passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Franklin Meadows.

She was born on Tuesday, October 9, 1962 to the late William Newton Long and Marian Dorothy (Green) Way in Danville, Illinois.

Christine worked for Walmart for over 25 years and lived in Franklin, Indiana for over 30 years. She enjoyed gardening and flowers and loved being in the sun and would listen to music while doing so. She was a good cook and loved having cookouts in the summer with her family while they laughed at each other’s dry humor and waited their turn to be teased and made fun of by Christine. Always in good fun and lots of laughs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William, and Marian; and sister, Jennifer “Clancy” (Long) Harris.

Christine is survived by her children, Monica Whitaker, Jennifer Allanson, Christopher “The favorite” Golden, Ashley “Binky” Golden; grandchildren, Eric Whitaker, Zamien Golden, Bria Dillard, and expected granddaughter in July; brother, Michael Long; and sister, Elizabeth Yedla.

Visitation is Friday, April 9, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46143
