Christina Ann Snyder

Christina Ann Snyder, 48 of Nineveh, IN passed away suddenly on September 7, 2021. Christy was born on September 25, 1972, to her parents, Bruce and Deborah May in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Christy Graduated in 1991 from Norwell High School and later went on to graduate from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in 1995. After graduation, she married Joshua in 1998 and together, they had three children, Jarrod Hunter, Jaycee Ann, and Conner Michael.

Christy worked at Elwood Staffing for the last 21 years, where she was a branch manager. She hit many milestones that awarded her many different trips over the years. Christy was very involved in all her kids’ lives whether it was FFA or 4H, the boys playing baseball, football, and wrestling, Jaycee taking 3 different kinds of dance at the studio, cheerleading, or for the school’s dance team. She also helped the kids with their goats.

Christy leaves behind her husband, Josh; children, Jarrod, Jaycee, Conner; parents, Bruce and Debby, in-laws, Jack (Janet Perkins) Snyder and Anita Snyder; brother, Mark (Regina) May; brother-in-law, Allen Snyder; sisters-in-law, Megan (Greg) Carter and Kendra Jackson; aunts and uncles, Ron (Susie) May, Lyle Skaros, Patrice Woody, Jeff (Tasha) Woody; nephews, Hayden May, Gregory Carter; and nieces, Stacey, and Hailey Carter.

Christy is preceded in death by her grandparents, Herbert and Opal May, Lou and Joyce Woody; mammaw, Virgie Snyder; aunt, Judy Skaros; and uncle, Scott Woody.

Christy loved spending time with her kids and doing whatever it was that they enjoyed and not having her here will be a big void in everyone’s lives.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 3 pm – 8 pm at Nineveh Christian Church, 1261 CR 775 S, Nineveh. The funeral service will be on Monday, Sept 13, 2021, at Nineveh Christian Church starting at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 9:00 am. Burial will follow at Nineveh Cemetery.
