Christiane M. Work, 86 passed away December 9, 2019 in her home, surrounded by her family. Christiane was born Christiane Marcelle Fernande Radet in Paris, France on March 30, 1933. Her parents were the late Pierre Louis Radet and Suzanne Juliette Alphonsine Tuvache Radet.
Christiane married an American G.I./Military Police (Dean Work) officer in 1956 and moved to the United States in 1959. After they divorced in 1971, Christiane went to work for American United Life (AUL) in the reinsurance department and also worked part time for L.S. Ayres downtown for a few years. She retired from AUL in 1997 after 25 years. After her retirement she traveled, gardened, enjoyed her family, friends and of course, her dogs.
She has gone home to be with her son, James "Phil" P. Work, whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Suzanne I Miller-Childers (Timothy Childers) and her grandson Jacob Miller.
There is a Celebration of Life scheduled for Saturday January 04, 2019, 2-5 p.m. at the American Legion post 79, 9950 E. 600 S. Zionsville, IN 46077
