Chris Henry, 52, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away November 12, 2024 at his home with family by his side.
Chris was born on March 16, 1972 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Paul "Sonny" and Mickey (Miley) Henry. On June 28, 2003 Chris married Janell and they spent the next 21 years together. Anyone who knew them could see the love they had for each other that only grew stronger over the years.
Chris is survived by his wife, Janell Henry; children, Shelby Henry (Todd), Jared Henry (Audrey), Morgan (Jaden) Henry, Hannah Clark (Chase), Macey McKenna; siblings, Lori King (Jamie), Angie Ramey (Dwayne); grandchildren, Emerson Clark, Waylon Clark, Alice Barnett, Eden Edwards, Dawson Coulter, Jared Henry Jr.,Ansley Clark, and Jersey Edwards, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Sonny and Mickey and sister, Danielle (Dani) Henry.
Chris loved cars, especially FORD. He worked on them, built model cars, RC cars and drag racing. If it was a FORD and had an engine he was going to customize it and make it a true one of a kind. He and Janell were involved with Indiana K9 search and recovery, which they trained dogs to locate missing people. Chris loved to cook, especially baking, he made all his children's birthday cakes. He loved listening to music, his favorite was classic 80's rock. He was a very witty man, he always made people laugh no matter what the mood was. Chris will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His family and friends would describe Chris as hot headed, loving, caring, passionate, ornery, supportive, loyal, a goober, a great gimpy, and as his friends would say "one of the good ones"
