Chris Denton, 97, passed away on December 13, 2022 in Indianapolis, IN
Chris was born on October 15, 1925, in Junction City, KY to Albert Denton and Ola (Hogue) Denton. After high school, Chris proudly served in the United States Navy as a signalman onboard the USS Hickman County (LST-825) in the South Pacific during World War II.
Chris worked as a car salesman Indiana and Florida for many years. Those who knew him knew he loved to laugh and have a good time with family and friends. He enjoyed dancing, fishing and playing euchre. He recently moved into Northridge Gracious Retirement Living where he gained many new friends.
Chris was proceeded in death by his parents, his sisters, and his children, Larry Denton, Donna (Denton) Hillman and Christie (Denton) Lawson. He is survived by his beloved cat, Apple, and his loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great granddaughter and nieces and nephews.
Chris will be laid to rest at Bethel Cemetery alongside his children.
There will be no visitation or service.
