Cheryl Anne Kerrigan

Cheryl Anne Kerrigan, 67, passed away on July 8, 2023 with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Shirley Stineman.  Cheryl is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years Philip Kerrigan; her daughters Nicole (Mark) Siegler and Amy (Joel) Simon, and four grandchildren, Benjamin and William Siegler and Oliver and Anna Simon, as well as her dearly loved siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was born in Muncie, Indiana on November 19, 1955.  She married her high school sweetheart and together they built a wonderful life with their two daughters in Sioux City, Iowa and Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Cheryl cherished people and easily made friends; most of whom became family.  Cheryl’s infectious enthusiasm to celebrate the achievements and milestones of those she loved will be remembered fondly.  Above all, Cheryl loved her family.  The role of mom and grandma was her greatest joy.  She was a regular volunteer at the school events of her children and grandchildren.  Cheryl worked for many years for Southwest Allen County Schools in Fort Wayne, Indiana and devoted her time volunteering as treasurer for Special Olympics of Fort Wayne. She will be deeply missed.

The family will have a blessing from 1:00-1:30 and will receive friends from 1:30-3:30 on Sunday, July 30^th at The Sagamore Club, 10900 Golden Bear Way, Noblesville, Indiana.  In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Special Olympics Allen County (5651 Coventry Lane, Box 151, Fort Wayne, IN 46804).
