Cheryl Ann Hendrixson (Harper) was born to Father John Allen Harper (deceased) and Mother Marjorie Mae Harper (Sperry) in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 26, 1956.
Cheryl Passed on March 30, 2022 at Compassus Inpatient Hospice Center after battling pneumonia and other unseen complications for 97 days.
Cheryl attended St. Gabriel grade school and graduated from Cardinal Ritter High School. She has one younger sister Carol Brown (Harper) (Michael Brown) and one younger brother Dennis Harper. Cheryl married Steven Wayne Hendrixson on August 2, 1980 at St. John’s Catholic Church in downtown Indianapolis. Cheryl achieved her BSN at IUPUI. After 30+ years of being a dedicated RN, Cheryl went on to receive her Care Manager Certification and specialized in geriatric care. Cheryl was an adventurous soul that loved to travel; her greatest pleasure in life was to pamper her four grandsons.
She is survived by her spouse Steven Hendrixson, Amy Hendrixson (Frytz Mor), Joseph Hendrixson (Sarah Leonard), and Jack Hendrixson. We ask in leu of flowers please donate to Indiana Parkinson Foundation (http://www.indianaparkinson.org/) in Cheryl’s name. She was a contributor to this foundation because her father, John, passed from Parkinson’s disease.
With help from Indiana Funeral Care, we ask all family, friends, and colleagues please join us on Friday April 8, 2022 at 11:30am at St. Luke Catholic Church for Cheryl’s funeral mass. Immediately following at 1:30pm – 4:30pm will be Cheryl’s celebration of life at the White River Yacht Club.
