Charlie J Street

Charles J. "Charlie" Street, 75, of Shelbyville, Indiana passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenwood.

He was born Tuesday, November 5, 1946, to the late Grace Delores and Charles Layton Street in Shelbyville, Indiana.
 
Charlie had many things that he enjoyed doing such as bartending, socializing with loved ones and friends, and watching sporting events. He loved his yorkie, Ace, that he had for many years. Charlie loved the American Legion Victory Post 70 where he bartended and was Commander of the Sons of American Legion for 22 years. He also held the prestigious position as Past Commander of the SAL 10th District for two consecutive years. He was a member of the Rushville Eagles Lodge.
 
He is survived by his ex-wife, Dianna Williams; daughter, Michelle Kay Hogan; grandson, Derek Keith Hogan; son, Billy Street(and children); extended family and many loved ones.
 
Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Grace, and Charles; sister, Mona Kay; and half-brother, Tony.
