Charles Robert Kelly

Our dear husband, brother and friend, Charles Robert Kelly left this world peacefully to be with God Tuesday October 19, 2021. Bob was 80 years old.
Bob was born in Greencastle Indiana to William & Lucille (Winter) Kelly on December 7, 1940.
“Kelly” lived a fulfilling life.
He was a Cathedral grad, attended Butler & Ball State university’s where he was an all -state baseball player.
He served his country through the US Army for 6 years.
He retired (after 30 years) from Eli Lilly young enough, that he could spend his time traveling, watching baseball (or any other sport), following Notre Dame football like it was his job.
More than anything, Bob was a truly good, Christian man who was surrounded by the love of his wife, family and friends and his 5 dogs.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Barbara, brother Bill (Kris) sister Patricia Kelly, his numerous nieces,nephews, many friends and loving friend Katharina.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dorothy Kelly.
Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm Friday October 22nd at the Indiana Funeral Care location on Allisonville Road. www.indianafuneralcare.com
Services will be held at 11am at St Pius X Catholic Church Monday October 25 with an hour of visitation prior beginning at 10 am, internment at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens immediately thereafter.
