Charles (Chuck) Clinton Ginn, 79, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 19th, 2023. Chuck was born in Indianapolis Indiana on March 18,1944, where he lived most of his life. Chuck served in the U.S. Army. He worked most of his career as a welder, retiring from Allison Transmission in 1999. Chuck was an avid racing fan and car buff. He was a gifted, creative mechanic who inspired and mentored several generations of young “motorheads”. Chuck will always be remembered for his infamous driving skills, his loud exhaust, and his infectious laughter.

Chuck was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his son Kevin Ginn (Linda), his daughter Kim Oren (Steve), his grandchildren Jessica Ginn (Brian Voorhis), Justin Ginn (Kaitlin), Jacob Chapman, Ben Chapman, his great-grandchildren Evelyn, Lydia, and Felix Voorhis, and Sophia Ginn, his siblings Helen Rosenberg (Bob), Harold Ginn (Maxine) and Diane Pavey. He also leaves behind his faithful dog, Blue.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, JoAnn Ginn, his Father Clarence Ginn, and his sister Marjorie (Carole) Tolin.
