Charlene Brewington, 93, passed on Monday, May 3, 2021 in Fishers, Indiana, at IU Saxony Hospital Hospice Unit. She was born on February 8, 1928 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Charles Lee, Sr. and Della Eunice Jarreld Lee. Charlene was the second eldest of five children, two preceded her in death. Charlene graduated from High School in Tennessee.

Charlene married the love of her life, Homer Reese Brewington on September 23, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana and had three daughters. She had a 70-year career in retail and retired from Walmart. Charlene had a vivacious personality and made people around her laugh. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attended Cornerstone Baptist church as a member.

Charlene is survived by her husband of 71 years, Homer Reese Brewington; daughters, Jeanette Woster (Allen), Annette Brewington, Diane Brewington; granddaughter, Heather Guthrie (Tom): great-grandchildren, Brooke Bolander, Bradley Bolander; sister, Martha Miller (South). She was preceded in death by her sister, Maudie Edwards, and twin brother, Charles Lee, Jr.

Charlene was a Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank the hospice nurses, Physician Assistants, and nursing staff at Indiana University Health Saxony Hospital for the wonderful care she received during her last days of life.
