Cecil March Reed was born to the late Lela Z. Cosby and the late Walter Reed on March 17,1944 Indianapolis, IN
Cecil attended the Indianapolis Public Schools until he was drafted in the Army November 8,1966 to November 7,1968 and he later reenlisted in September 1969 to May 1970.
Cecil worked in many occupations, but his primary field of work was construction and contractor as that was his passion and did until called to his final resting place.
Cecil was baptized and received the Holy Ghost at Bethesda Temple Apostolic under the late Bishop E. Vaughn where he later in 1993 wed Jeanetta Reed. Years later he joined and attended Revival Temple under Bishop W. Duncan and he visited and attended services at Agape under Bishop G. Burt.
Cecil loved to fish, go camping, preach the word of GOD and go good willing every first Saturday of the month. Cecil was a man everybody loved, he would give you his last, invite you to live or just cook so people could have a good time, he was family oriented and always planning some type of event so we all get together, he will be greatly missed.
Cecil Reed departed this life on Sunday, January 19, 2020 in his home located at 6418 Commons Dr. Indianapolis, IN
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Mrs. Jeanetta Reed of 25 years, three daughters, Manana (son in law Larry) Sales, Amanda and Yolanda Reed, eight grandchildren, Eddie, Gabrielle, Troy, Alicia (Derek) ,Kendall, Tyrone, Manana Jr and Destinee,
19 great-grandchildren his siblings Odell, Pam, Patsy and Keith Wooden (Lela) , Martha, Kimberly and Quan Reed (Walter) and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Cecil is gone but not forgotten.
