Cassie Daurelle

Cassandra "Cassie" Lynn Daurelle, age 33, of Martinsville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025. Born on August 13, 1991, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend whose spirit touched the lives of many.

Cassie is survived by her devoted mother, Julie Hawkins; her treasured daughter, Stella Benbow, who was the center of her world; her siblings, Amy Macy, Sarah Reid, Christopher Hawkins, and Cole (Brittany) Hawkins; as well as countless friends, nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles. Her loyal companion, a beloved dog named Dakota, also grieves her loss.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Danielle Hawkins; her grandparents, Bill and Janet Daurelle; and her father, Michael J. Daurelle.

An extraordinary individual, Cassie was known for her vibrant personality, infectious laugh, and boundless love for her family and friends. Her outgoing and caring nature drew people to her, making her a source of joy and laughter in their lives. An avid fan of the Dave Matthews Band, she found solace and inspiration in music. Cassie ad a particular fondness for clouds, sunsets, and everything related to water, and she could often be found dancing and embracing the beauty of the moment.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Cassie’s life at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel with the visitation beginning at 12:00 until the time of service at 3:00 PM.

In this time of grief, let us remember Cassie's beautiful spirit, her laughter, and her loving heart. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
