On January 5, 2025, Carter Faust Chenoweth passed away in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 32. Carter touched the hearts of many with his warm, caring nature, infectious personality, and life-of-the party presence - he brightened every room he entered.
Carter graduated from Lawrence North High School in 2011 and continued his education at Indiana University. He was a sports enthusiast at heart and enjoyed golfing, skiing, and cheering on his favorite Indiana sports teams, including IU, the Pacers, and the Colts.
He spent his time supporting his family in any way possible, from taking care of his late mother to helping with his nephews and niece. Carter was a natural caretaker whose kindness and generosity knew no bounds.
Carter was born on August 7, 1992, in Indianapolis, IN. He is survived by his father, Jan Robert Chenoweth of Indianapolis, Indiana; his brother, Taylor R. Chenoweth; sister-in-law, Natalie Chenoweth of Dayton, Ohio; his nephews and niece, Leland (5), Bennett (3), and Ella (1); aunts, Beverly and Debbie Chenoweth of Union City, Indiana, Dave and Shana Faust of Indiana, Tom and Judy Faust of Indiana; as well as numerous cousins, extended family, and many friends turned family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Sue Faust Chenoweth.
His positivity and joyful spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he met. Carter's friendship was a gift, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Carter's life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The District Tap, 3720 E. 82nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46240. All are welcome to join in honoring Carter's memory.
