Carrie Lanise King

Carrie Lanise King, 40, of Indianapolis, passed away on September 18, 2022, after battling cancer.
Carrie was born on March 15th, 1982, to Walter King Sr. and Linda Norwood in Indianapolis. After Carrie graduated from Perry Meridian High School, she went on to further her education at the Excel Center. After school, she worked at Walgreens in service retail.
In 2015, Carrie gave birth to a baby boy named Joshua Luke King. Over the years, Carrie spent her time bowling, participating in the Special Olympics, watching basketball, watching different cooking shows, and enjoying everything about her son Joshua.
Carrie was predeceased by her mother Linda Norwood, father Walter King Sr and brother Walter King Jr. She is survived by her Grandmother Carolynn Norwood; son Joshua King; sisters Kelly and Gwen; brothers Paul, Robert, Brian, Lamont, Jason, and Terry; aunts Donna (John), Renita, Christa, and Lori; uncles Lee and Neil (Vicky).
