Carrie Lois Jeffers

Carrie Lois (Champer) Jeffers, 82, passed away May 24, 2022, at home surrounded by love. Carrie was born June 8, 1939, in Terre Haute, IN to William Austin and Estella Evaline Champer. She married Harold Lee Jeffers, the love of her life, August 5, 1956.

Besides being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Carrie was an X-ray Tech for Hancock Memorial Hospital and the radiology group of Dr.’s Beeler and Silver before retiring. She enjoyed her luncheons with friends, being actively involved in her family’s lives, reading and traveling.

Carrie is survived by her husband of 65 years, daughters Victoria Jeffers Parr (Ken Miller) and Lee Ann Hayward (David). She is also survived by grandchildren: Jessica Parr Dreesen (Joel), James Parr Jr. (Kristin Patrick), Jonathan Corwin, and great grandchildren: Evaline Soltes, Gage Dreesen, Kane Dreesen, Evan and Avelyn Parr, Riley, Hayden and Lucas Corwin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Alice Patricia Maskill and Sandra Certain.
